Find Someone Who - Easter / Spring Past Simple Speaking Activity
Find Someone Who - Easter / Spring Past Simple Speaking Activity
This Spring & Easter Find Someone Who game—with a twist will get your students moving, speaking, and writing. Part of the Write & Find series, this activity adds extra grammar practice by having students write their own questions based on each prompt before they interview classmates like a traditional find someone who game.
This printable grammar and speaking activity is perfect for ESL/ELL learners and great for spring parties, classroom warm-ups, or seasonal review days.
What’s Included:
- 24 Spring & Easter-themed prompt cards (color & black/white)
- 1 student recording sheet to write questions and collect initials
- Cards can be used in multiple ways
- Place them on desks or hang them around the classroom
- Pass them from student to student
How It Works:
- Students read each prompt (e.g., Find someone who went on an Easter egg hunt)
- They form a question (e.g., Did you go on an Easter egg hunt?) and write it down
- Then, they mingle with classmates and ask their questions
- If a classmate says “yes,” they add their initials to the form
