It's is a great way to use Past tense grammar, move around the room and socialize with classmates This Christmas/ New Year version has a twist!
Perfect for ESL/ELL learners, this activity reinforces past simple question formation in a fun, low-prep way.
What's the twist? It forces your students to form and write down the correct questions based on the prompt cards.
Example:
Prompt: Find someone who ate cookies this Christmas
Student question: Did you eat cookies this Christmas?
